Brand X Painting Welcomes You

We're a small group of rabid gamers and enthusiastic artists whose passions are assembling, converting, and painting wargaming miniatures.

We've all worked together as a team for over 2 years - honing our respective skills and striving to offer great products and even greater customer satisfaction. Most of our team have worked for other painting services in the past, and so we have a solid understanding of what works (and what doesn't work!) in the miniatures painting business. We have an extensive library of past projects - click here to see what we've done so far!

You'll find our prices are very competetive; our quality surpasses many of the other available painting services (who charge you more!); and we're absolutely commited to offering the very best customer service available - bar none.

Follow the "Our Services" link to the left for detailed information on commissioning projects. Follow the "Prices" link above to see a detailed breakdown of our three grades of painting (sample pics coming soon!).

Customer Testimonial

Have you seen the MASSIVE Vostroyan Army we just completed? And did you know that the command squad won 1st place in both Peoples and Judges voting in the recent Iron Man painting competition at Sanctuary Games in Provo, UT?

Here's what the client had to say after viewing the pictures online:

I saw the pictures yesterday. I am SO STOKED. These look great, really... Really great.
I would like to think some of it is my scheme. But I cannot tell you how happy I am with the results.
You guys did a great job matching the scheme, and a really excellent job overall with the painting.
I have no doubts in my mind that the minis are going to be just as impressive as the photos are.
I think this has been one of the best experiences I have using a mini painter and as of this date I have used 5 different painting companies.
Brand X has exceeded my expectations, and I will be using you again in the future. I have a Tau army that needs painting and a massive eldar army to do as well. So I will be calling on you guys again in the very near future.

Thanks

- R.M.

Customer Testimonial

We recently finished the first part of a massive Skaven army and here's some initial comments from the client:

I found the package waiting for me yesterday when I got home, so no
worries. They were packed well and made it without any breakage. Hopefully
batch 2 goes as well.
The painting was just beautiful on these guys, much better than the
pictures even. I am so glad I decided to go with the NMM treatment, it
really makes them stand out. This is exactly what I was hoping for. I
can't wait to see more!

- Chris H.

This project was a bit of a challenge - Chris wanted a unique NMM look - so we ended up trying out a 'cold metal' appearance, to reflect the odd properties of warpstone. You can check out the pictures here.

We recently painted some figures for Mark over at Fictional Reality. We were happy to do the project and it was quite fun to do too. Here is what he had to say about Brand X Painting.

I recently sent off a batch of figures off to Brand X Painting and here is a short report of the outcome. I sent 5 Infinity Combined Army Morat soldiers along with one that had already been painted to use for reference. I asked that they color match the 5 unpainted ones and it was done perfectly. The new ones will mix in with my existing Morat soldiers with no problem at all. One figure had one or two tiny unpainted spots on a bit of terrain that was used on the base but I was able to easily and quickly dab on a spot of black paint and nobody will be any the wiser. Top notch job of color matching! I also sent along four Combined Army drones and asked that two of them be painted with the same color carapace and the remaining two should each have a different color carapace. A different artist than the one that did the Morats did the Drones and I was a bit worried that the paint styles might not match up very well but I was very pleased with how they turned out. They will fit right in to my somewhat eclectic looking Combined Army force. No complaints whatsoever with the Drones. They turned out great. The last figure I sent was a fantasy fighter that I pretty much just picked up out of my pile of unpainted models and sent along with the sci-fi stuff. I didn't know what to expect from just one guy going there and coming back (because there wouldn't be any unit cohesion or theme to him) but he ws excelptionally well done. My experience with Brand X Painting was a very good one and I plan to be a return customer.

If you would like to see the models he spoke about, you can click here and here. We hope to do more infinity figures as they are wonderful models. If you don't know what Infinity is, go to www.infinitythegame.com and check it out!
